John Newman works on new single at Foltaazje in Leeuwarden
Last week we welcomed a very special guest at Foltaazje: British star John Newman. Known worldwide for hits like Love Me Again and his collaborations with Calvin Harris and Rudimental, Newman flew to Leeuwarden especially for an exclusive studio session.

In our studio, John worked on his new single together with an international production team. The session was led by Robin Klaver (NL) and Deniz Koyu (DE), both renowned producers in electronic music. Engineer Mark Wagenaar (NL) took care of the technical side and the recording, capturing it all down to the last detail.

With the creative energy of three countries in one room — Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands — the atmosphere in the studio was inspiring. The result of this collaboration is expected soon, and we can’t wait to let the world hear what came to life here in Leeuwarden.
At Foltaazje, we’re proud that artists of this calibre find their way to us. It confirms that Leeuwarden is not only a cultural capital, but also a place where international music history is being written.
